She shows to use a smaller hook to make the holes to crochet, but my hook, size 1.25mm, won’t go through the material!! If I had a sewing machine I would use it without thread so at least I’d have a hole to start with! But I don’t have room for any kind of a sewing machine!! Can someone tell me what to use, please? Maybe you need more practice before showing others. It looks like you were having a little trouble. Plus, how long will the glue hold. I think it will come apart in no time. A waste of time.

Instead of using cotton swabs use something that is reusable easily like a bamboo stick or even thehandle of a crochet hook.
